The small alley near the old market was usually quiet.
Shops were closing, and the streets were beginning to empty. But that evening, something small moved between the buildings.
A man walking nearby noticed three tiny kittens wandering along the ground.
Two were white, and one was black.
All of them looked painfully thin.
Hungry and Alone
The kittens were clearly struggling.
Their ribs showed through their fur, and they moved slowly as if exhaustion had taken away most of their strength. It seemed they had been searching for food for a long time.
Instead of walking past them, the man gently crouched down.
Fortunately, he had already prepared some cat food and clean water with him.
The moment the bowls touched the ground, the kittens rushed forward.

They began eating eagerly, as though they hadn’t had a proper meal in days.
A Fourth Little Survivor Appears
While the three kittens were busy eating, the man noticed something else nearby.
From behind a wall, another tiny kitten slowly appeared.
This one was a small calico.
Perhaps the smell of food had drawn her closer.
Without hesitation, the man gently guided the shy newcomer toward the bowls so she could eat with the others.
Soon, all four kittens were gathered together, finally enjoying a full meal.
A Gentle Rescue
Once their tiny bellies were full, the man carefully picked them up one by one.
He placed each kitten inside a sturdy plastic carrier so they could travel safely.

The kittens were quiet now — tired, but clearly more comfortable after eating.
A Home Full of Second Chances
The journey ended at the man’s home.
But this was no ordinary home.
Inside lived many other cats he had rescued before.
The new kittens were gently released into a clean, safe space where they could begin adjusting to their new surroundings.
For the first time in a long while, they were no longer wandering hungry streets.
They had shelter.
They had food.
And most importantly, they had someone who cared enough to stop and help.
For four tiny kittens, that moment changed everything.
