Lucky’s story started in the most heartbreaking way.

A small, helpless kitten was found curled up beneath a car, lying still as if life had given up on him. His eyes were sealed shut by pus, and his body reeked of filth. His back was covered in debris—stones, plastic bags—clinging to his matted fur. He was too weak to even lift his head, and every movement seemed like an impossible task.

A woman who found him didn’t hesitate. She bought a sausage and gently fed it to the kitten, but after eating, he collapsed from exhaustion, unable to stay awake.

Immediate Medical Care

At the veterinary clinic, the care team worked quickly. They cleaned his eyes, removed the debris from his body, treated his ear mites, and dewormed him. Lucky, at just 0.5 kg (1.17 pounds), was barely hanging on, his frail body barely more than skin and bones. Tests confirmed Lucky was negative for feline panleukopenia (a dangerous viral disease), giving his rescuers the hope they needed to continue.

After just a few days of treatment and care, Lucky began to show signs of improvement. With medication and the care of his devoted rescuers, his body began to stabilize. He could eat on his own and showed increasing energy. Slowly, the little kitten who had seemed lost in despair started to regain his strength.

Physically, Lucky began to transform. His matted, dirty fur grew softer and shinier, revealing the beauty of a Ragdoll cat. His clear blue eyes sparkled, showing the vibrant spirit within.
